These quilts have been made by the African Quilters group in Mzuzu, Malawi.  The African Quilters are a group of 7 Malawian widows that have learned the craft of quilt making.  More quilts and information about the group can be found at http://africanquilters.blogspot.com/.  This 9-panel quilt is approximately 32 inches wide and 36 inches long.  It has a sewn in rod pocket across the back for quilt rod hanging.
