Here is a sneak peak into what we do with our profits ❤️ Pictured here is a woman from Viweme Village, a very small village in Malawi of about 200 people. This village was one of the first to partner with Africa Bags, and since then we have raised enough funds through the Africa Bags project to assist in establishing a village day care center, Community Development Center, and a village savings and loan program. One of the most exciting aspects about Africa Bags partnering with the Viweme village is the Africa Bags micro-loans. Villagers partnering with Africa Bags are able to borrow money from the Africa Bags savings account, which a portion of all Africa Bags sales is contributed to, at a reasonable interest rate. This encourages villagers to join the program and provides them access to more stable micro-loans rather than more risky ones offered from outside lenders.
