Little Lesson #4: Hunger Crisis in Malawi “More than 2.8 Million people will face hunger in the coming months in the worst food crisis in a decade in Malawi, where a staggering four out of every 10 children suffer from stunting” (United Nations World Food Programme qte. in United Nations 2022) This is a reality for people in Malawi. Due to severe flooding and droughts, they are not able to grow crops to make staple foods such as Maize (see Little Lesson #1). Without help from the world, the Malawian community will undoubtedly suffer. Help us to stop this from happening!
