Our Mission

Malawi Tech Solutions is focused on empowering students by providing opportunity and breaking the cycle of poverty. Malawi is the fourth poorest country in the world. This equates to extreme lack within the education system. Malawi schools lack funds for adequate resources, learning materials, and specialized education such as technology training.
Embangweni Community Day Secondary School is currently training our first twenty-two students, consisting of an equal number of male and female students. Following a four year IT certification at Embangweni Secondary School, Malawi Tech Solutions goal is to advance our students on to a higher education at the local Tech University within Malawi, or to support our students to pursue a career in IT.
One of the most important skills that will be taught in this program is how to learn, how to grow, and how to succeed in life. Helping someone achieve an IT education will give them confidence, motivation, people skills, and hope for the future. The goal is to provide guidance on how to thrive instead of just survive.
Malawi Tech Solutions is a pioneer project, the first of its kind within Malawi. Just because a student lives in one of the poorest countries in the world doesn’t mean they have any less of a passion for technology than a student with exposure at an early age. Malawi Tech Solutions will help the underprivileged students of Malawi, Africa to find and pursue their passion for technology. This groundbreaking program will change the lives of many people for generations to come.
Malawi Tech Solutions Scholarships
Malawi Tech Solutions is thrilled to introduce its very first scholarship recipient, Flora. Every day, Flora walked over a mile each way to attend Embangweni Secondary School and participate in the MTS program. Her hard work and determination have made her the top-performing female student in her tech courses.
Flora’s commitment to learning was evident in her early arrivals and long hours after class, dedicating extra time to mastering computer skills. In recognition of her passion and perseverance, we awarded Flora a Full Ride Scholarship, covering both tuition and room and board. Upon hearing the news, she shed tears of joy, knowing she no longer has to make the long daily walk to pursue her education.
Flora’s story is just the beginning. Many other dedicated students in the MTS program face similar challenges, walking miles each day to access education.
