Welcome to the Warm Heart of Africa Blog

Hello fellow humans from around the world! I am Holly, the founder and CEO of Africa Bags. In June of 2004 I landed my dream job with Southwest Airlines, and not even 3 years later, the gift of my career inspired me to pay it forward, to create an empowerment project in one of the poorest countries in the world.

What started out as one project, upon seeing dire need during every visit to Malawi, has now grown to several projects focused on women and youth empowerment, education, IT, reforestation, and even organic cotton. I am starting this blog today to share all the exciting highlights within our numerous projects as they arrive from The Warm Heart of Africa.
